My mother was doing her best in keeping our family together, ever since our father passed away. It has been hard for all of us, but it was a lot harder on her. The first few months after my father’s death were full of hardships and she managed to make ends meet by selling silver accessories. Some of those accessories were given to her by my dad and I know that it was a hard decision for her, to part with them.
In time we manage to find part time jobs to help pay the bills in the house. We know that we should be more responsible because we can’t let her handle all the burdens by herself. When my older brother finished his studies, he was lucky to get a job right after graduating. In time my mom stopped to sell silver and my brother took over the rest. I am very thankful for what she did and I too am doing my best, to do better in my studies so that I will be able to help her when the right time comes. She taught me a very important lesson in life and that is not giving up when faced with adversity.
